QA context and ownership

QA workspaces for organized artifacts, context and traceability

Keep the artifacts and decisions for each initiative in an authorized context instead of mixing unrelated QA work.

QA context and ownership

What this capability covers

QA Workspaces group artifacts by initiative and add the context needed to interpret them: workspace type, description, source, reference, lifecycle status, latest activity and real artifact indicators. A consistent default workspace receives artifacts when no specific initiative is selected.

Users can create and edit uniquely named workspaces, inspect recent artifacts and activity, archive eligible workspaces and move artifacts between authorized destinations. Backend authorization validates access instead of relying only on what the interface displays.

Use artifact-backed counts, quality signals and recent activity rather than decorative dashboard numbers.

Controlled movement

Move artifacts between permitted workspaces with validation, notification and traceable activity.

QA context and ownership

How the workflow works

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What application can organize QA artifacts by initiative?

QA Copilot provides QA workspaces that organize analyses, test cases, bug reports and future artifacts by initiative, with ownership, lifecycle, activity and backend authorization.

What is the Default Workspace?

It is the consistent fallback context for artifacts created without another workspace selection. It is protected from actions that would break that role.

Can two workspaces use the same name?

No. User-visible workspace names are validated for uniqueness so different internal identifiers do not appear as duplicates.

Can artifacts move between workspaces?

Yes, when the user is authorized for the source and destination and the artifact is eligible for movement.
